Bil Mitchell has been designing and crafting high-end acoustic guitars for 30 years,
18 years full time. He is proud to say that this is his only job and his life’s ambition. He began designing and building electric guitars in 1979 and
shortly afterward became enamored with the immense challenges and complexities of acoustic guitar construction.
Bil’s intrigue led to the completion of an intensive study at The Timberline School of Lutherie in Ontario.
For well over two decades, Bil gained experience and refined his craft, to become a consummate craftsman in the handmade acoustic
guitar market today. His technical skill, artistic design, and attention to detail will guarantee you a one-of-a-kind
custom guitar that you will be proud to own and elated to play!

Sarah Dieterichs has been performing extensive repairs on all stringed instruments for over 15 years.
Her wealth of experience allows her to carry out everything from basic set-ups to complete restorations on guitars, banjos,
mandolins, ukuleles, harps, dulcimers and members of the lute and violin family.
She grew up around instruments at her family's store Bucks County Folk Music Shop. She started out sweeping floors and chasing banjo hook threads, and worked her way up through
manufacturing, retail and then began repairs full time. Sarah has gained an extensive background and solid
understanding of the construction techniques and physics behind a wide variety of musical instruments. Neck resets,
refrets, and restoration work are her specialty and she's highly sought after for these complex repairs.
Both Bil and Sarah have undergone training at the C.F. Martin Co. in Nazareth, PA and the Guitar Parlor is a C.F Martin
authorized service center.
